She reviewed the returns of Chinook, sockeye, and upriver summer steelhead, and she also gave a preview of the forecasted season for fall Chinook salmon, expected to total 347,500 to the Columbia River. Bonneville Power Administration Releases Long-term Regional Dialogue PolicyMark Gendron, vice president for Northwest Requirements Marketing, briefed the Council on Bonneville's long-awaited Long-term Regional Dialogue Policy. The policy outlines how the agency plans to sell its wholesale power to public utilities for the next 20 years, beginning in 2012. The policy does not address the agency's service to direct-service industry aluminum plants or the level of benefits to residential and small-farm consumers of investor-owned utilities. |
