Power Supply Should be Adequate This Winter According to Council Assessment

John Fazio, senior power analyst, reported on his analysis (480k PDF) of the adequacy of the power system this winter. His analysis indicates that there is little chance of an energy shortage this winter, thanks to a surplus supply of power.

Council Adopts Findings and Comments on Subbasin Planning 

The Council adopted the findings and response to comments on the subbasin planning process. This was the last step in the amendment process to adopt subbasin plans as part of the Council's fish and wildlife program.

Bonneville Presents Plans for Its Role in Power Supply

Paul Norman, Bonneville senior vice president, briefed (50k PDF) Council members on the agency's future role in power supply. He reviewed Bonneville's policy proposals, known as The Regional Dialogue, which describe how generating resources will be developed, priced, and sold in the the Northwest.
