Northwest Power Planning Council
Notice of Request for Recommendations to the Northwest Power Planning Council’s
Columbia River Basin Fish and Wildlife Program

Mark Walker
Director of Public Affairs
Northwest Power Planning Council
851 SW Sixth Avenue, Suite 1100
Portland, OR 97204

Dear Mr. Walker:

The staff of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department has reviewed the notice of request for recommendations regarding the Columbia River Basin Fish and Wildlife Program.

The State of Wyoming has only a small portion of the Columbia Basin within our borders. This is the upper Snake River drainage. Though small in comparison to the Columbia system, the upper Snake is very important to the State. We recognize the upper Snake has little involvement in the Columbia River Basin Fish and Wildlife Program; however, we would request that we be kept informed of pertinent issues that may affect Wyoming.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment.

Sincerely,

BILL WICHERS
DEPUPTY DIRECTOR
