Budgets and Project Reviews

As part of its mandate to protect, mitigate and enhance fish and wildlife affected by the hydrosystem, the Bonneville Power Administration funds fish and wildlife projects consistent with the Council's program.
    Bonneville makes its project funding decisions after receiving recommendations from the Council on projects proposed for funding. Following Section 4(h)(10)(D) of the Power Act, the Council makes its project review recommendations based on recommendations from the Independent Scientific Review Panel (ISRP), public comment on the projects and ISRP reports, and recommendations from the state, tribal and federal fish and wildlife managers.
   The Council makes its recommendations through a variety of documents, primarily annual workplans.

• Province Review. The rolling province review solicits projects on a regional (province) basis so that each province is reviewed every three years.
