What are we trying to do?
Assess the effects of load shifting and renewable resource additions on:
- Resource dispatch.
- Atmospheric pollutants and CO2 production.
- Wholesale power costs (I.e., what is the value of load shifting?)
Use AURORA price forecasting model to estimate price effects and resource dispatch.
Use data and assumptions from Council’s System Adequacy and Reliability study as the base case.
