Content use policy

One of the goals of Congress in the Northwest Power Act was to provide for the participation and consultation of the public at large in the development of a regional power plan and fish and wildlife program. To that end, the Council disseminates information as widely as possible across the region.

To facilitate this sharing of information, it is the Council’s ordinary practice not to copyright documents or other media products it produces. The Council does request, however, that anyone who wishes to use a Council product inform the Council in advance ( or 503-222-5161) and then credit the Council in any subsequent publication.
