Access to personnel records
An employee’s supervisor or Division Director, the Administrative Officer (as Director of Human Resources) along with the Human Resources Office staff, the legal division, and the Executive Director shall have access to employee personnel records, but only to the extent such persons need information in the records for legitimate business reasons or as required by law. Individual Council Members, subject to prior approval of the Executive Committee, and the Executive Committee shall have access to such records, but only to the extent they need information in the records for legitimate business reasons or as required by law. Employees shall have such access to their own personnel files as is provided by applicable law.
